Pracheen Ayurvedic &
Unani Dawakhana, Established in 1921 by Late Hakim Shri Harbans Lal and
then continued by Late Sh. Lakshman Prasad Garg, Now there sons and
grandson continuing it. Vaid J.K Garg and Dr. Mudit Garg (Grandson) 4th
Generation, they all are having basic understanding of whole anatomy and
inner functions. As Ayurveda believes in holistic approach,
concentrating on whole body, even when prescribing treatment for a
specific part, Ayurveda believes that the disease could affect any part
of the because of a basic dearrangement in total function of a
body. Basic moto of PAUD peoples are quality instead of quantity and to
cure the patient and to live Aarogya life.
Here medicines are manufactured
Acc to Vedas, the doctors at Paud have many of their own formulations which
they get from there forefathers. Some formulations they got from Rishis
& Munis who use to live in Himalayas, where the wonder herbs use to
grow. From last 101 years the experiment is still going on these herbs and
result is that each and every formulation works like a miracle. So these
formulations are unique and no one get anywhere in this world.
Usually other pharmacies produce medicine in bulk so there quality does not
reach international standards and due to improper oxidisation of metals it
contains high level of zinc, mercury, arsenic in it which cause harm to
body. But Paud believes in quality so they produce small lots, oxidise them
properly by giving particular putis (1 puti is burning the
medicine one time with herbs ), and it results in all the
harmful metal are oxidised and give the best results without any side
effect. Here each herb is cleaned and extra waste material is removed and
then that herb goes for the further process. Some medicine go for 100 putis
and take 5 to 6 months to be ready to consume. Some medicine contains gold,
silver, diamond in it in oxidised form but because of the rising cost some
manufactures,manufacture it without using it. But Paud uses each & every
oxidised metal to make a particular medicine according to Ayurveda rules
& laws.They say disease is result of imbalance in the body doshas of
vata (Air) pitta (fire) and kapha (Earth). Ayurvedacharyas diagnose the
cause of illness by conversing with the patient and ascertaining the role of
environment food family, history, character and genetics. Patient doshas
diagnosed by Nadigyan. Nadigyan tells the nature of the patient containing
kapha, pitta, vata. After all that checking all the reports and X ray of
patients are checked. The medicine is prescribed so that medicines will
bring more than 90% positive results.
Live medicine – Paud
doesn’t make any sealed medicine, they make or formulate medicine
“live” in front of patients as per the need of patient. They
used to combine couple of all ready formulated medicine to formulate the
particular medicine as per the need of the patient so each finally
formulated medicine combines more than 2 to 300 Ayurvedic Himalayan herbs
for better results. Ancient Manuscripts – Paud has several of ancient
manuscripts of formulas which are experimented and they all work like
a miracle.
